Studio Information The outside of the studio is headed by a bright and colourful sign, below which there is a large window allowing a view of the sales area of the studio. The bars are there to stop you escaping!
First impressions when you enter the studio are of a warm, airy and clean reception area. The designs are eventually going into racks and more artwork will be on display. The light and openness of the inside allows a good area for viewing designs and the merchandise we sell.
The reception is where we put Karen - out of the way! The shelf allows a comfortable position for clients to fill in wavers etc. The displays in the studio carry our stock of glass engravings, digital prints, the Aftercare products and our Trophies. When time and finances allow we will have a jewellery display also.
Karen "Ka Ka the Midget" Hanson is doing the dealing with clients, and will be our Piercer once her training is complete. Her trainer Carl "Cookie" Cook says this will be soon.
Steve "Old Boy Racer" Galbraith, owner and creator of Somewherelse. 11 years of tattooing, four of being professional. Loves coffee, snakes, coffee, beer, football, coffee, coffee and more coffee. PLEASE!
Nick "Judge Dredd" Stennett. New Apprentice. First tattoo being successful has now set himself on the path of stickin' pins into people. Hee hee!!
Being a new business our studio will change little by little. Our main intention is to use the shop front to show the work of local artists, be it paintings, sculptures etc.
We have a large flash collection which is growing every week. The tattoo studio is bright and airy with a growing amount of images spread across the walls to keep mind and eyes busy. All surfaces are kept clean and sterile. We only use high quality equipment from the top suppliers, and our sterilisation is to very high standards.
How to find us : Approximately 20 mins from Dewsbury towards Bradford and the M62, turn left after the Bus Depot.
